QWC- AWM Writing Race - The Great Unblocker

It's official...I am now unblocked. I attended the QWC-AWMonline writing race last night and cranked out 2307 words of a short story from scratch - all in an hour. I can feel the winds of change rushing through me! I finally out-stared the Big White Blocky Page... and won.

Lynn, that's brilliant! Sometimes it takes another project. Sometimes it just takes an external push. Whatever it was, the more experiences you have breaking through your block, the better you'll get at recognising exactly what you need to get through it (and the less hard you'll be on yourself when you are blocked). So proud of you! Hope the re-writing of your story will start to flow just as well :)

By the way, your blog is looking fabulous. That title image is divine.

Thanks Kath. You are so right - a little diversion from the main event was just what was needed. Heading back into rewrite land tomorrow to see how I fare. And if it still doesn't feel right- there is plenty of other diversional tales to fill the time, until the time is right to write!

and that 'is' should have been an 'are' and it must be time I slept...
